Job summary

Bestow is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer in the United States to own building scalable, reliable cloud infrastructure and developer tooling. You will automate infrastructure, craft internal tools, and collaborate with platform engineers to drive architectural decisions and operational excellence.

You will work with Terraform, Pulumi, Docker, and Kubernetes, applying strong coding skills in Go, Python, Bash, or TypeScript, and actively use AI agents to assist engineering tasks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience working with cloud infrastructure (e.g., GCP, AWS, or Azure).
• Familiar with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Pulumi and understand CI/CD workflows.
• You write clean, maintainable code and have experience in at least one scripting or programming language (Go, Python, Bash, TypeScript).
• Hands-on experience utilizing AI agents for engineering tasks and directing them with clear context and constraints.
• Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and with version control workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop and Maintain Cloud Infrastructure: implement and evolve IaC, monitor and optimize cloud resources.
• Support Developer Productivity: build CLI tools, shared libraries, and scripts to accelerate workflows.
• Contribute to Platform Resilience: implement dashboards, alerts, runbooks, and participate in incident response.
