SSi People in the United States is partnering to hire a Senior Platform Engineer who will shape systems, automation, and the developer experience to keep modern delivery fast and safe. You will lead platform improvements, strengthen reliability practices, and guide how engineering teams build and deploy at scale, mentoring engineers and coordinating with cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

• Experience leading platform and automation work streams in ambiguous environments.
• Ability to architect self-service capabilities around infrastructure and application delivery.
• Strong background in developing, reviewing, and deploying well-crafted code to provision infrastructure and deploy applications at scale.
• Experience evaluating, selecting, and owning CI/CD toolchains and driving adoption of new tooling and practices.
• Ability to define and own SLO and SLI frameworks for platform and application health.
• Experience leading incident response, conducting blameless post-mortems, and driving systemic improvements to observability and reliability.
• Must be legally authorized to work permanently in the country where this position is located, without time limitations, restrictions, or sponsorship needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of platform capabilities that improve developer experience across the organization.
• Own complex automation initiatives and create self-service capabilities for infrastructure and application delivery.
• Drive DevOps practices and culture, including improvements to deployment frequency, failure rate, MTTR, and lead time.
• Define standards, reusable components, SLO/SLI frameworks, and observability practices while mentoring engineers and supporting incident response and post-mortems.
