Job summary

S27a is seeking a Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer to improve how our engineering teams design, deploy, and operate cloud infrastructure, helping product engineers move faster with less friction.

You will own end-to-end problems, build reusable platform capabilities, strengthen observability, and shape CI/CD and Terraform workflows. Collaboration with product and security teams is essential to deliver reliable, scalable systems.

Qualifications

• Significant experience designing and operating production cloud systems.
• Strong systems thinking across application, cloud infra, networking, and deployment.
• Track record solving ambiguous infra problems and driving outcomes.
• Experience partnering with product engineers and influencing decisions.
• Reliability, security, cost focus with engineering velocity.
• Infrastructure as code with Terraform experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product teams to understand workloads and growth plans.
• Translate patterns into shared infrastructure capabilities and standards.
• Design and evolve AWS infrastructure with tradeoffs for reliability and velocity.
• Improve provisioning, deployment, observability, and failure diagnosis.
• Build automation and internal tooling to reduce repetitive work.
• Collaborate with security to integrate practical controls into the platform.
• Document architectural decisions and raise infra standards.
