Job summary

Maximus is seeking an accomplished technology leader to own the engineering, platform operations, and modernization across CRM, ERP, and connected enterprise systems. The role demands delivering secure, scalable, and compliant solutions while guiding DevSecOps, API integration, and release management for a large-scale program.

Lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets and staffing, and partner with business leaders to align capabilities with transformation priorities.

Qualifications

12+ years of relevant professional experience.
Progressive experience in enterprise applications, CRM, ERP, software engineering, or platform engineering.
7+ years of technology leadership experience managing enterprise platforms, application portfolios, or technical teams.
Strong knowledge of enterprise CRM and ERP platforms, preferably Salesforce and/or Deltek Costpoint.
Experience with enterprise architecture, APIs, integration, DevSecOps, CI/CD, testing, and release management.
Strong understanding of security, identity, data governance, risk, compliance, resilience, and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

Own technical risk management for the program, including architectural, security, performance, and integration risks.
Ensure engineering processes support high reliability, security, scalability, and maintainability.
Provide escalation and resolution for complex technical issues impacting cost, schedule, or mission success.
Serve as the overall technical authority for the contract or program, responsible for the integrity, feasibility, and quality of all engineering solutions.
Lead technical decision making for scope changes, tradeoffs, risk mitigation, and issue resolution throughout the program lifecycle.
Work directly with the Program Manager to document how scope changes impact contractual delivery; ensure clear and concise communications between all impacted stakeholders.
