Worth AI is seeking a Senior Engineer for the Platform team to accelerate the engineering lifecycle and deliver a scalable Product for the Engineers. You will architect shared patterns, reduce friction, and mentor teams while tackling architecture and performance challenges.

The role involves ownership of Kubernetes/ArgoCD deployments, data layer optimization with PostgreSQL and Kafka, and cross-team collaboration to evolve our service-to-service communication.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering with leadership experience.
• Mentorship experience developing engineers.
• Experience in Platform/Infrastructure/DevEx teams.

Responsibilities

• Identify friction in development lifecycles and prioritize tooling or architectural changes.
• Design reusable patterns with Node.js/TypeScript to enable reliable services and interfaces.
• Own performance issues and optimize databases and messaging patterns.
• Manage Kubernetes and ArgoCD configurations for safe, automated deployments.
• Lead cross-team technical challenges and refactor complex codebases into maintainable modules.
• Mentor engineers and raise the engineering quality bar.
