Worth AI seeks a Senior Engineer to join our Platform team in Atlanta, GA, delivering the Product for the Engineers. You will mentor staff and drive architecture, tooling, and cross-team initiatives to improve development velocity.

You will own patterns in Nest.js and React.js, manage Kubernetes/ArgoCD deployments, optimize PostgreSQL and Kafka, and push for higher reliability and performance across services.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering with leadership experience.
• Proven mentorship track record.
• Experience in Platform, Infrastructure, or DevEx teams.
• Deep Node.js/TypeScript expertise and scalable Nest.js backends.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes and ArgoCD.
• Strong PostgreSQL and Kafka skills.
• Ability to translate vague problems into roadmaps.
• Building psychological safety and engineering quality.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular interviews with engineering teams to identify pain points and prioritize tool development.
• Design reusable patterns using Nest.js, React.js, and TypeScript to enable teams to ship high-quality services and interfaces.
• Address systemic performance issues like slow PostgreSQL queries and Kafka patterns for reliable messaging.
• Own and evolve Kubernetes and ArgoCD configurations for seamless deployments.
• Lead cross-team technical challenges and refactor legacy code into maintainable modules.
• Mentor engineers to raise technical skills and architecture understanding.
• Prototype and roll out new internal tools and frameworks for CI/CD, local development, or observability.
• Provide documentation, workshops, and 1:1 support for adopting new frameworks.
