Job summary

Adarga is growing its Platform Engineering team and seeks a Platform Engineer to develop DevOps skills in a fast-paced mission-driven environment. You will work with experienced engineers on a cloud-native, highly automated product, receiving mentoring while contributing to production systems that matter.

Your days mix development, learning, and supporting releases with exposure to a wide range of technologies and a clear path toward increased responsibility and growth.

Qualifications

• Experience with US Government Cloud systems.
• Experience in the FEDRAMP process.
• Hands-on Linux systems administration.
• Practical experience with AWS and GCP services and concepts.
• Experience with Kubernetes (GKE) and container fundamentals (Docker).
• Scripting ability in Bash or Python for automation tasks.
• Strong networking fundamentals (DNS, HTTP/S, TCP/IP, firewalls).
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative engineering workflows.
• Familiarity with GitOps and declarative configuration management.
• Ability to effectively leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate engineering workflows.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining and improving our cloud infrastructure and account structure.
• Contribute to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Support deployment and operation of containerised applications in Kubernetes.
• Help automate infrastructure delivery pipelines and CI/CD workflows.
• Assist in monitoring, logging, and observability tasks across our platform.
• Support disaster recovery testing and data backup/restore processes.
• Collaborate with software engineers and data scientists to understand infrastructure needs.
• Learn and apply DevSecOps principles, integrating security into workflows.
• Participate in incident response and troubleshooting under guidance from senior engineers.
