Worth AI, a leader in the computer software industry, is seeking a Senior Engineer for its Platform team in the United States. You will act as a force multiplier, architecting shared patterns and unblocking technical debt to accelerate development and improve reliability.

You will design reusable patterns using Nest.js, React.js, and TypeScript, own deployments with Kubernetes and ArgoCD, and mentor engineers to raise the team’s technical capabilities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with leadership
• Mentorship history and platform/infrastructure focus
• Proven expertise in Node.js/TypeScript ecosystem
• Hands-on Kubernetes and ArgoCD experience
• PostgreSQL query optimization and schema design
• Kafka event-driven architecture experience
• Ability to refactor legacy code into scalable architecture
• Navigate high-ambiguity environments and set roadmaps
• Build psychological safety and trust within teams

Responsibilities

• Interview engineering teams to identify pain points and prioritize tool/architecture fixes
• Design reusable patterns with Nest.js, React.js, and TypeScript to enable engineers
• Tackle systemic performance issues (PostgreSQL, Kafka) for reliability
• Own and evolve Kubernetes/ArgoCD configurations for safe deployments
• Lead cross-team technical challenges to concrete resolutions
• Refactor complex codebases into maintainable modules
• Mentor engineers to raise technical proficiency and architecture understanding
• Prototype and roll out internal tools to improve CI/CD and observability
• Introduce new frameworks and provide documentation/workshops for adoption
• Lead code reviews and promote maintainable design and testing strategies
• Communicate trade-offs across teams with empathy and clarity
