Job summary

NinjaOne is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join the Platform & Asset Management team. You will own software that powers knowledge bases, custom checklists, and asset visibility for tens of thousands of customers, building scalable cloud services on AWS using Java, Kotlin, C++, Golang, and Postgres.

The role emphasizes quality, large-scale systems, and collaboration across teams, with flexible remote options for US-based candidates and hybrid offices in Austin, TX and Tampa, FL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years experience in Java software development for product applications.
• 4+ years experience with highly scalable software systems.
• Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• REST API development using Jersey or Spring.
• Relational database design and development.

Responsibilities

• Develop large-scale applications in Java and Kotlin.
• Commit code and ship products, applying enterprise-level software practices.
• Collaborate across teams to maintain quality and performance.
