Job summary

NinjaOne is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join the Platform & Asset Management team. You will develop Java/Kotlin software powering tools for 40,000+ customers and work on asset discovery, license tracking, and telemetry in a cloud-native AWS environment.

We offer hybrid remote options for US-based candidates, with offices in Austin, TX, and Tampa, FL. Onsite interviews may be required for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years of Java software development experience for product applications.
• 4+ years building highly scalable software systems.
• Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka/RabbitMQ).
• Strong REST/API design and relational DB skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop Java and Kotlin software for large-scale applications.
• Commit code and ship products, following enterprise patterns in a startup environment.
• Collaborate across teams to improve quality, reliability, and performance.
