Job summary

NinjaOne is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Java, to enhance our IT Operations product suite. You will design and implement scalable solutions, contribute to new features, and support existing functionality for millions of endpoints and servers.

The role collaborates with engineers across Java, Kotlin, C++, Golang, and Postgres, and leverages AWS for cloud services. We offer flexible remote work in the USA, with hybrid options at our Austin, TX or Tampa, FL offices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
10+ years of Java software development experience.
Experience building highly scalable systems.
Strong OO design, APIs, REST, Spring.
Proficient with relational databases and caching.
Experience with AWS and cloud services is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead the development of large-scale software applications, ensuring high quality and adherence to our quality-first standards.
Influence critical architectural decisions for scalable, maintainable systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers.
Own technical initiatives and drive improvements based on data from support teams.
Advocate for and implement quality assurance practices.
Contribute to additional responsibilities as needed to support the team’s success.
