Job summary

Karias Health is building AI-powered healthcare platforms that reduce costs and improve member care. This dedicated US engineering role defines the architecture for our latest platform and mentors offshore engineers while staying hands-on (roughly 80/20).

Reporting to the Lead Engineer and collaborating with the CPTO on platform direction, you will codify tenancy, data isolation, and engineering standards for a secure, scalable SaaS.

Qualifications

• Approximately 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Production Ruby on Rails experience in a mature codebase and tenancy scope decisions.
• Fluency with AI-assisted development across specs, implementation, testing, and review.
• Strong Python and production AWS experience.
• Direct experience building multi-tenant SaaS with data isolation.

Responsibilities

• Mentor offshore engineers and raise code quality as a technical point of accountability.
• Apply AI tooling across the full development lifecycle with safe guardrails.
• Define architecture and tenancy scope for the platform.
