Job summary

Grifols is seeking a Sr Operations Supervisor to lead donor floor operations at the Richmond, VA plasma donor center. The role supports the Center Manager, ensures performance against throughput and quality targets, and drives continuous improvement while maintaining a strong safety culture.

You will supervise staff, coordinate shifts, schedule donor flow, and ensure adherence to FDA, OSHA, CLIA and cGMP standards.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED and appropriate certifications (Phlebotomist, Donor Center Technician, Plasma Processor, Designated Trainer, CPR).
• Typically requires 6 years of related experience in phlebotomy, donor processing, and plasma processing.
• Ability to meet regulatory and quality standards in a highly regulated medical environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as acting leader in absence of Center Manager and supervise staff on donor floor.
• Oversee donor operations, staff during shifts, and coaching of team members.
• Create employee schedules to accommodate donor cycles and manage inventory levels.
