Job summary

Grifols is seeking a Senior Operations Supervisor for our Richmond plasma donor center. You will lead donor floor operations, supervise staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with Center Manager to drive performance and donor satisfaction.

Responsibilities include shift leadership, scheduling, inventory management, QA and safety, training, and timely reporting. This role demands strong leadership, high integrity, and the ability to thrive in a regulated medical environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Certifications as Phlebotomist, Donor Center Technician, Plasma Processor, and Designated Trainer.
• CPR Certification.
• Experience in a regulated donor center or clinical laboratory environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as acting leader in absence of Center Manager; cover production tasks.
• Oversee donor operations and supervise staff during shifts; provide shift leadership.
• Create employee schedules to match donor cycles.
• Manage inventory levels; place vendor orders to maintain stock.
• Maintain regulatory compliance with FDA, CLIA, OSHA, cGMP, and SOPs.
• Support daily plans to meet throughput, quality, and productivity targets.
• Lead safety culture and accountability; report unsafe conditions.
• Prepare timely and accurate reports for the Center Manager.
• Assist in onboarding, training, and cross-training of staff.
