Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certifications in Phlebotomy, Donor Center Technician, Plasma Processor, and Designated Trainer.
• CPR certification required.
• Typically requires 6 years of related phlebotomy/donor processing experience.

Responsibilities

• Acts as acting leader in Center Manager's absence and oversees donor center operations.
• Supervises donor center staff during shifts; coordinates staffing, tasks and coaching.
• Creates staff schedules to align with donor cycles and center needs.
• Manages inventory levels; submits vendor orders to meet requirements.
• Maintains regulatory and quality compliance with FDA/OSHA/CLIA/cGMP SOPs.
• Supports daily operations to achieve donor throughput, quality and productivity targets.
• Collaborates with Center Manager and Quality team to handle deviations and issues in real time.
• Ensures accurate documentation and timely reporting to Center Manager.
• Maintains clean, safe center facilities and properly functioning equipment.
