Job summary

Grifols is seeking a Senior Operations Supervisor to lead donor floor operations in a high-volume plasma center. The role focuses on staff supervision, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement to optimize donor throughput and satisfaction.

The position requires phlebotomy experience, multiple certifications, and a strong commitment to safety and quality. Working knowledge of SOPs, CLIA, FDA standards is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Phlebotomist, Donor Center Technician, Plasma Processor, and Designated Trainer certifications are required.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Acts as acting leader in absence of Center Manager and provides shift leadership.
• Oversees donor operations and supervises staff during shifts; assigns tasks and coaches team.
• Creates staff schedules to align with donor cycles.
• Manages inventory levels and submits vendor orders to meet needs.
• Keeps Center Manager informed of issues and implements action plans.
• Executes daily operational plans to achieve donor throughput and quality targets.
• Partners with Center Manager and Quality team to resolve deviations in real time.
• Monitors donor flow and addresses delays to ensure a positive donor experience.
• Ensures documentation is accurate and consistent with SOPs, CLIA, cGMP and FDA requirements.
