Job summary

Grifols in North America : USA : NC-Goldsboro location seeks a Senior Operations Supervisor to lead daily donor center operations, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with FDA, CLIA, OSHA and cGMP standards.

You will oversee donor flow, scheduling, inventory, reporting, and continuous improvement, partnering with the Center Manager and Quality team to drive performance and donor satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; phlebotomy related certifications strongly preferred.
• Experience or training in donor center operations and plasma processing is desired.

Responsibilities

• Acts as acting leader in absence of Center Manager and covers donor center tasks.
• Oversees donor operations and supervises staff during shifts, including staffing, task assignments, and coaching.
• Creates staff schedules to align with donor cycles.
• Manages inventory levels and coordinates orders to vendors.
• Maintains communication with Center Manager on irregularities and corrective actions.
• Executes daily plans to meet performance targets for throughput, quality, and productivity.
• Partners with Center Manager and Quality to resolve deviations in real time.
• Monitors donor flow and addresses delays to ensure donor satisfaction.
• Ensures compliance with SOPs, FDA, OSHA, CLIA, and cGMP procedures.
• Oversees donor selection, plasma collection, and manufacturing records per regulations.
• Attends trainings and staff meetings; maintains thorough records.
• Maintains facility cleanliness and equipment readiness; assists in reports and budgets.
• Supports onboarding and cross-training of staff; maintains cross-functional communication.
• Leads by example in safety, teamwork, and accountability.
