Job summary

True North Consultants, Inc. is assisting an global plastics manufacturing client in Anderson, South Carolina, seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead manufacturing operations and deliver safety, quality, and productivity goals.

You will oversee Production, Maintenance, Tooling, Engineering, and Continuous Improvement, drive Lean initiatives, manage budgets, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen performance and support growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related field.
• 5+ years manufacturing operations leadership.
• Automotive plastics or blow-molding experience desirable.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
• Familiarity with ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and OSHA.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership across Production, Maintenance, Tooling, Engineering, and Continuous Improvement.
• Optimize resources to maximize performance and minimize downtime.
• Drive Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen and other improvements.
• Lead capital projects and equipment investments.
• Establish metrics and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally and manage budgets.
• Develop workforce planning and succession pathways.
