Job summary

Software Placement Group, SPG is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead its Anderson, South Carolina manufacturing facility, driving operational excellence across Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and Continuous Improvement.

The role emphasizes Lean and Six Sigma implementation, cost control, safety, quality, and regulatory compliance (IATF 16949, ISO 9001, OSHA/EPA). Budgets, capital projects, and staff development are key priorities.

Qualifications

• Five or more years in manufacturing operations leadership.
• Experience leading multiple functions: Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Tooling, Scheduling, CI.
• Strong knowledge of IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 / 45001.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen and capital-project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership across Production, Scheduling, Maintenance, Tooling, Engineering, CI.
• Drive Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen to improve productivity and reduce costs.
• Lead capital projects from evaluation to commissioning and optimization.
• Establish metrics and drive corrective actions for safety, quality, delivery, and costs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Quality, EHS and external partners.
• Develop teams, plan workforce and succession to strengthen capabilities.
