Job summary

Food Management Search seeks an experienced Plant Operations Manager for its Anderson, South Carolina facility. The role provides leadership across production scheduling, maintenance, tooling, engineering, and continuous improvement to deliver safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.

You will drive Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen initiatives while managing capital projects and cross-functional teams to enhance manufacturing performance and competitiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of manufacturing operations leadership experience.
• Experience in automotive manufacturing is desirable.
• Leadership of Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Tooling, Scheduling, and CI.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.
• Experience managing budgets and costs.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership across Production, Scheduling, Maintenance, Tooling, Engineering, and Continuous Improvement.
• Optimize utilization of personnel, equipment, tooling, and capital resources.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce costs, minimize downtime, and improve quality.
• Lead, coordinate, and optimize capital projects and new equipment installations.
• Establish and report on key operational metrics with corrective actions.
