Reworld Waste, LLC is seeking an Operations Manager for our Thermomechanical Treatment Facility in Lorton, VA. Lead safety, production and maintenance to deliver cost-effective, compliant operations aligned with corporate goals.

The role requires 10+ years of supervisory plant experience, strong leadership, Six Sigma/Lean familiarity, and BS in Engineering. Join a carbon-negative waste-to-energy mission and mentor a diverse team.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical) preferred; 10+ years supervisory/managerial plant ops experience considered in lieu of degree.
• Experience in power plant operations or high-pressure boiler environments.

Responsibilities

• Set expectations, lead safety and operational performance.
• Provide KPI-driven management and long-term planning input.
• Develop resource plans and manage employee relations.
• Champion continuous improvement (Six Sigma/Lean) and culture of accountability.
• Coach and develop staff across shifts and teams.
• Ensure compliance with procedures and safety practices.
