Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Operations Management, Business Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 5-8 years of manufacturing experience in a high-volume production environment.
• 3-5 years of leadership experience managing supervisors, teams, or manufacturing operations.
• Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to drive results while focusing on safety, quality, and employee development.
• Experience managing multiple departments, processes, or production areas.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the Door Plant, Millroom, and Framing departments to achieve safety, quality, production, and delivery goals.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and support to departmental supervisors to drive performance, accountability, and employee development.
• Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining efficiency, productivity, and cost objectives.
• Monitor staffing, workflow, and production performance to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
• Promote and enforce company safety policies and ensure employees are trained for their assigned work.
• Partner with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and other departments to resolve issues and improve performance.
• Monitor product quality and implement corrective actions to reduce defects, rework, and waste.
• Manage departmental performance to achieve budget, labor, and operational targets.
• Maintain accurate production records, labor reporting, and departmental documentation.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, cost reduction, and employee engagement.
• Foster a positive work environment through effective communication, teamwork, and leadership.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, organization, and workplace efficiency.
• Support workforce planning, cross-training, succession planning, and staffing needs.
