Job summary

MasterBrand Cabinets LLC in Illinois seeks a Superintendent to lead the Door Plant, Millroom, and Framing departments, driving safety, quality, and on-time production. You will guide supervisors and teams to meet schedules, improve efficiency, and manage costs while enforcing safety and housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• 5-8 years manufacturing experience in a high-volume environment.
• 3-5 years leadership experience supervising teams or operations.
• Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with lean, continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the Door Plant, Millroom, and Framing departments to meet goals.
• Coach supervisors to drive performance, accountability, and development.
• Ensure production schedules are met with efficiency and cost objectives.
• Monitor staffing, workflow, and productivity to identify improvements.
• Promote safety policies and train employees accordingly.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance to resolve issues.
• Monitor product quality and implement corrective actions to reduce defects.
• Manage department performance toward budget and targets.
• Maintain accurate production records and labor reporting.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focusing on safety and cost reduction.
• Foster a positive environment through communication and leadership.
