Job summary

American Woodmark, now part of MasterBrand, seeks an experienced Plant Operations Leader to direct production initiatives and develop world-class manufacturing practices. You will coordinate plant operations, optimize resources, and drive continuous improvement to meet or exceed goals.

The role requires strong Lean/Six Sigma experience, excellent project and team leadership, and a commitment to safe, efficient manufacturing. Travel and union-free environment expectations are noted.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of manufacturing experience.
• Minimum 8 years of supervision experience across multiple departments.
• Experience in wood drying, machining, cabinet components, material flows and inventory management; CI and Six Sigma.
• Lean manufacturing experience; Six Sigma a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead organizational development for production areas.
• Coordinate inter-department and shift communications; foster relationships.
• Drive TPM and Six-Sigma projects to improve uptime and reliability.
• Plan activities to meet SQDC targets and customer expectations.
• Lead Kaizen events and participate on teams/projects.
• Develop SOPs and participate in hiring and training processes.
• Provide team leadership aligned with company vision and policies.
