Job summary

KingRecruitingServices seeks a Plant Engineer in Wilson, North Carolina to lead the maintenance and engineering department. You will drive capital projects from concept to completion while maintaining safety and quality standards, and develop cutting-edge maintenance systems like Preventive and Predictive Maintenance, TPM, to maximize plant uptime.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field with 8+ years’ experience or equivalent.
2+ years of team management or project leadership experience.
Strong leadership, planning, teamwork and analytical thinking.
Advanced technical skills in mechanical/electrical fields (PLCs, instrumentation).
Knowledge of maintenance systems, work orders, preventive/predictive maintenance, TPM.
Ability to use exposure monitoring equipment and communicate results.
MS Office proficiency, especially Excel and Word.
Clear written and oral communication; strong problem solving and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Own capital projects from concept to completion with on-time, on-budget delivery and safety compliance.
Develop and implement maintenance systems (Preventive/ Predictive Maintenance, TPM) to maximize uptime.
Lead the maintenance team; delegate tasks and ensure safe, efficient work.
Provide short-term fixes and long-term solutions for daily plant operations.
Track KPIs for maintenance performance and drive continuous improvement.
