Job summary

Accounting Search is seeking a Plant Engineer in Wilson, NC to lead maintenance and engineering in a fast-paced food manufacturing setting. You will drive capital projects from concept to completion and implement advanced maintenance systems to maximize uptime and product flow.

You will manage a team, apply strong leadership, and develop KPIs to measure equipment reliability and efficiency, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance while advancing technology projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field with 8+ years of experience.
• 2+ years of team management or project leadership.
• Strong leadership, planning, teamwork and adaptability.
• Advanced technical skills in mechanical/electrical fields (e.g., PLCs, instrumentation).
• Experience with maintenance systems: preventive/predictive, TPM.

Responsibilities

• Own capital projects from concept to completion, on time and budget.
• Develop and implement maintenance systems for preventive and predictive maintenance, TPM.
• Lead maintenance team and assign tasks safely.
• Troubleshoot equipment and provide short- and long-term solutions.
• Track KPIs and drive continuous improvement across plant.
