Job summary

Vogrinc Search Group seeks a Plant Engineer in Wilson, North Carolina to lead the maintenance and engineering department in a fast-paced food manufacturing plant, driving equipment reliability and seamless product flow while overseeing capital projects from concept to completion.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 8+ years of relevant experience, plus at least 2 years in team leadership.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of capital projects from concept to completion, delivering on time and on budget while maintaining safety and quality.
• Develop and implement maintenance systems including Preventive and Predictive Maintenance, TPM, to maximize plant performance.
• Lead and manage the maintenance team, delegating tasks and guiding work assignments to ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Provide short-term fixes and long-term solutions to daily operational challenges and equipment failures.
• Develop and track KPIs for maintenance performance, supplier performance, and overall equipment effectiveness.
