Job summary

Entergy is seeking a Planner/Schedule Coordinator to manage the planning and scheduling of maintenance and outages for the Transmission System. You will work with Grid Engineers, Project Managers, and multiple internal groups to ensure safe, reliable operation and compliant work execution.

The role requires coordinating with internal teams and external utilities, maintaining schedules, and ensuring timely documentation and close-out of work requests.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance planning to ensure correct outage and manpower resources.
• Utilizes Maximo and Click to manage, schedule, and coordinate maintenance activities.
• Coordinate substation switching and screen/ consolidate work orders for projects.
• Lead weekly scheduling conferences with local management and adjust plans as needed.
• Serve on Incident Response Team to support storm events.
• Develop and maintain outage schedules and ensure proper close-out of tasks.
