Job summary

Entergy Louisiana, LLC is seeking a Senior Manager, Grid to lead the Substation Grid organization, ensuring safe inspections, maintenance, outage response, and capital project delivery for blanket projects under $250K, and to support commissioning of new lines and equipment.

The role oversees engineers, coordinators, and craft personnel; manages budgets; coordinates with engineering, finance, asset planning, and operations; and leads teams on safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance across

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in utility industry or equivalent.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience.
• Leadership, interpersonal skills and team collaboration.
• Knowledge of budgets, financial procedures and asset accounting.
• Knowledge of utility electric system design and operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for substation field operations, safety, regulatory compliance, equipment inspections and maintenance.
• Track and manage Grid capital and maintenance budgets, planning, scheduling and project goals.
• Supervise engineers, operations coordinators, substation/relay craft personnel, including coaching and development.
• Respond to regulatory compliance issues and support requests from FERC, NERC, SERC and others.
• Interface with engineering, finance, asset planning, customer service managers and operations centers.
• Lead teams on improvement projects, regulatory filings, safety, cost control and reliability.
