Job summary

NRG Energy is seeking a Planner/Scheduler to plan, coordinate, and schedule maintenance, outages, and project work to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective plant operations. You will develop work plans, estimates, and supporting documentation while collaborating with plant personnel, contractors, and other stakeholders.

The role emphasizes prioritizing work, supporting work management processes, and maintaining accurate scheduling information in line with company policies and safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related discipline required.
• Proven ability to plan, coordinate and schedule maintenance/work in a plant environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop scopes of work and estimate manpower/materials.
• Create and manage schedules for routine maintenance and outages.
• Coordinate between multiple work groups and stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate planning and scheduling data and backlogs.
• Ensure adherence to safety and environmental policies.
