Job summary

Ultimate Staffing is seeking a Senior Planner in Worcester, MA to manage production planning and scheduling in a manufacturing setting. The role focuses on MRP activities, demand review, and aligning materials and work orders to forecasted requirements.

The position requires 3–5 years in production planning, strong MRP/BOM knowledge, and proficiency with ERP systems. Excellent analytical and communication skills are essential for success on the shop floor and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of production planning or scheduling experience.
• Manufacturing environment experience required.
• Strong understanding of MRP, BOMs, and routing structures.
• Experience with ERP systems; GP experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Review and manage daily MRP requirements for finished goods and WIP.
• Develop and adjust production schedules to support orders and forecasts.
• Collaborate with production, inventory, and accounting to resolve scheduling and inventory issues.
• Ensure work centers are loaded and production resources are used efficiently.
• Support ECO/ECR planning activities.
• Review incoming customer orders and communicate updated delivery schedules.
• Provide backup planning and expediting support.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
