Job summary

David Clark Company in Worcester, MA is seeking an experienced Senior Planner to manage MRP analysis, planning, and execution of all MRP tasks for make items, and to review customer orders daily for updated ship dates.

The role requires 3–5 years of scheduling and planning in a manufacturing setting, a high school diploma or equivalent, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3-5 years scheduling and planning experience required.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Must be able to read and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Review MRP daily and action any new requirements for finished goods items.
• Review MRP daily to ensure appropriate WIP schedules to support customer orders and forecast.
• Collaborate with Production Manager on scheduling issues and adjust stocking requirements and order sizes.
• Coordinate with accounting, stockroom clerks and production supervisors on inventory and scheduling issues.
• Utilize planning tools to ensure each work center has sufficient work.
• Manage all planning tasks of the Engineering Change process.
• Review incoming customer orders daily and provide updated ship dates.
