Job summary

David Clark Company in Worcester, MA is seeking a Senior Planner to use MRP for analysis, planning and execution of all MRP tasks for make items and to daily review customer orders for updated ship dates.

Responsibilities include coordinating with Production Manager on scheduling, maintaining WIP and min stocking levels, and supporting Engineering Change processes. Requires 3–5 years scheduling experience and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Thorough understanding of multi-level BOMs, routings MRP logic required.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must have good organizational skills.
• Able to read and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Review MRP daily and action any new requirements for finished goods items.
• Review MRP daily to ensure appropriate WIP schedules support customer orders and forecast.
• Collaborate with Production Manager on scheduling issues and stocking requirements.
• Coordinate with accounting, stockroom clerks and production supervisors on inventory and scheduling issues.
• Utilize planning tools to ensure each work center has sufficient work.
• Manage all planning tasks of the Engineering Change process.
• Review incoming customer orders daily and provide updated ship dates.
• Serve as backup for Planner / Expeditor.
