Job summary

Fuller Technologies in Northampton is seeking a Production Planner to manage end-to-end work orders, RMAs, scheduling, and cross-functional coordination to ensure timely, efficient service delivery. The role supports continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and compliance with quality, cost, and safety standards.

It collaborates with Service and engineering teams to meet customer demands and optimize processes across the manufacturing facility in Northampton, MA.

Qualifications

• Experience in a workshop environment.
• College degree or relevant experience.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Office programs.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage time effectively.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Sense of urgency, proactive, customer-driven.
• Knowledge of parts by number and appearance.
• Familiarity with Oracle and Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP systems.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Perseverance and prioritization to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Initiates and tracks RMAs and work orders to meet ship dates.
• Reviews MPS reports and schedules work orders to support sales orders.
• Creates operations metrics to improve processes.
• Balances workloads and adjusts schedules to meet delays.
• Provides admin support to Service department staff.
• Coordinate with Service Center when parts arrive and close work orders.
• Handle customer requests for service repairs, freight charges, shipments, and parts.
• Identify efficiency opportunities to automate manual processes and reduce costs.
• Follow up on past due purchase orders.
• Issue inquiries to external vendors for timely offers.
• Maintain contract files and keep customers and sales informed.
• Monitor engineering progress and respond to delays.
• Promote a culture of personal and team safety.
