Blue Origin Engines in Huntsville, AL, is seeking an Engineer III to own the design and development of ground-based fluid piping systems for a development program. You will manage the full lifecycle from definition to operation, including sizing, component selection, and collaboration with internal and external teams.

The role requires strong fundamentals in fluid design, experience with piping and hydraulic modeling tools, and familiarity with industry standards (ASME B31.3, BPVC).

Formación

• Minimum of a B.S. degree in engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, or Chemical desired).
• 5+ years of professional experience within a similar sector (aerospace, petrochemical, power, etc).
• Demonstrated expertise in design and development of pressurized piping system architectures.
• Experience with hydraulic modeling tools (AFT Fathom/Arrow, HYSYS, etc.).
• Experience generating plumbing and instrumentation documents (P&IDs).
• Experience guiding and mentoring less experienced engineers.

Responsabilidades

• Technical ownership of fluid subsystems.
• Perform fluid sizing analysis for complex pressurized piping systems.
• Select components and generate specifications.
• Collaborate with production organizations to resolve manufacturing or procurement challenges.
• Work with operations to fabricate, install, activate, and operate fluid systems.
• Ensure operations and maintenance align with design intent and requirements.
• Coordinate with design and configuration management for product structures.
