Zusammenfassung

Blue Origin Engines is seeking an experienced engineer to lead the design, analysis, and life-cycle management of ground-based fluid piping systems for a development program. You will own subsystems end-to-end—from initial definition through operation—emphasizing stress analysis for piping with large thermal gradients, high-pressure storage, pneumatics, and related hardware.

Occasional site travel is expected.

Qualifikationen

• B.S. degree in engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, or Chemical desired).
• 5+ years of professional experience in a similar sector (aerospace, petrochemical, power, etc).
• Demonstrated expertise in design and development of pressurized piping system architectures.
• Strong technical fundamentals.
• Proficiency in pipe stress analysis and associated tools (Autopipe, CAESAR, etc).
• Experience in fluid system sizing, layout, components, and operations concepts.

Aufgaben

• Technical ownership of fluid subsystems.
• Perform stress analysis for complex pressurized piping systems across large thermal gradients.
• Derive support loads and coordinate with civil/structural engineers.
• Collaborate with production to resolve manufacturing or procurement challenges for fluid systems.
• Work with operations to fabricate, install, activate, and operate fluid systems.
• Ensure operations align with design intent and requirements.
• Coordinate with configuration managers for product structures and control.
