Job summary

Blue Origin Engines is seeking a Fluid Subsystem Engineer to own fluid subsystems and perform sizing analyses for complex pressurized piping systems. You will select components, prepare specifications, and collaborate with production, procurement, and operations to ensure safe, reliable system operation.

The role requires a BS in engineering with 2+ years in relevant sectors, familiarity with P&IDs and ASME B31.3, and the ability to work across teams.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or related discipline.
• 2+ years in a similar sector (aerospace, petrochemical, or power).
• Experience in pressurized piping system architectures.
• Experience generating P&IDs.
• Familiarity with ASME B31.3.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and maintain professional relationships.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Technical ownership of fluid subsystems.
• Perform fluid sizing analysis for complex pressurized piping systems.
• Select components and generate specifications.
• Collaborate with production and procurement to resolve manufacturing challenges.
• Work with operations to fabricate, install, and operate fluid systems.
• Ensure activities align with design intent and requirements.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain for cost and schedule-effective sourcing.
