Job summary

Sargent & Lundy seeks a Senior Piping Engineer in Minnesota to lead piping analysis and design for critical power projects. You will supervise project teams, review complex calculations, and ensure compliance with ASME codes. Candidates bring a PE license, 10+ years of experience, and expertise in B31.1/BPV III piping, with AutoPIPE/PIPESTRESS exposure.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree with emphasis on solid mechanics, structural analysis, elasticity, metallurgy and FEM.
• Requires P.E. license and 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Extensive knowledge of piping codes and design requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior level technical direction and supervision within the project team.
• Review complex calculations and approve simpler analyses.
• Review and approve system/structural designs for quality and operability.
• Prepare and review major system specifications and vendor submittals.
• Lead design reviews and coordinate interfaces between disciplines.
