Job summary

Sargent & Lundy seeks a Senior Piping Engineer in Minnesota to lead piping analysis and design for critical power projects. Candidates bring a PE license, 10+ years of experience, and expertise in B31.1/BPV III piping, with AutoPIPE/PIPESTRESS exposure.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree with emphasis on solid mechanics, structural analysis, elasticity, metallurgy and FEM.
• Requires P.E. license and 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Extensive knowledge of piping codes and design requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior level technical direction and supervision within the project team.
• Review complex calculations and approve simpler analyses.
• Review and approve system/structural designs for quality and operability.
• Prepare and review major system specifications and vendor submittals.
• Lead design reviews and coordinate interfaces between disciplines.
