Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a senior Piping Engineering & Analysis professional to lead project teams, supervise delivery, and ensure technical quality. The role involves guiding calculations, reviews of designs, and coordination with other disciplines to meet client expectations.

You will work on complex piping evaluations in compliance with ASME B31.1 and related codes, with a hybrid schedule requiring in-office presence three days per week.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering with solid mechanics focus as per ABET standards.
• 10+ years of relevant piping engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of ASME B31.1 and related piping codes.
• Familiarity with pipe supports and piping products.

Responsibilities

• Review complex calculations and approve simpler ones for projects.
• Review and prepare system/structural designs for accuracy and operability.
• Perform engineering review of drawings and coordinate design interfaces.
• Prepare and review system specifications and vendor submittals.
