Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a mid‑level Piping Engineering & Analysis professional to support projects with calculations, specifications, and component designs. You will work on ASME B31.1, B31.3, BPV codes, and piping analyses in hybrid mode with in‑office work three days/week.

Essential requirements include a BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering (ABET), 3+ years of experience, strong communication, and familiarity with piping supports; knowledge of AutoPIPE or PIPESTRESS is a plus.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET‑accredited program.
• 3+ years of relevant piping engineering experience.
• Knowledge of ASME B31.1 and ASME BPV Section III piping codes.

Responsibilities

• Prepares calculations and specifications for balance of plant equipment.
• Prepares and reviews design input for drawings (P&IDs, Master Diagrams).
• Mentors entry‑level engineers and supports project budgets/schedules.
