Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Piping Engineer for its Building Mechanical team. The role offers a hybrid work model from any Jacobs location and involves design of state-of-the-art industrial facilities across multiple markets.

You will lead piping tasks, coordinate with design teams, and support travel to project sites as needed. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in piping design, strong communication skills, and a PE license is preferred.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering.
• 8+ years of piping design experience for industrial/commercial facilities.
• Professional Engineering license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop piping design concepts and calculations.
• Prepare P&ID’s and equipment sizing details.
• Coordinate with multi-discipline teams and clients.
• Perform static pipe stress analysis and quality reviews.
• Mentor junior staff and lead piping design tasks.
