Jacobs is seeking a Piping Engineer to join our Building Mechanical team. You will design piping systems for state-of-the-art industrial facilities, lead a design team, and coordinate with multi-disciplinary groups to deliver projects on time.

The role emphasizes collaboration, field visits, and adapting to a fast-paced environment, with a hybrid work model across Jacobs locations in the U.S.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of piping design experience in industrial facilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel (≈10%).
• Experience leading a building mechanical team on a project and collaborating remotely.

Responsibilities

• Perform piping discipline design tasks and calculations.
• Coordinate with project team and clients to develop designs.
• Lead a design team within the piping discipline.
• Check drawings and perform QA reviews of junior staff's work.
• Organize work and delegate tasks; travel as needed.
