Jacobs is seeking a Piping Engineer for our Building Mechanical team in a hybrid role from any Jacobs location in the United States. You will contribute to the design of state-of-the-art industrial facilities and work with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver client solutions.

Ideal candidates hold a BS in Mechanical Engineering with 8+ years of piping design experience and proficiency in Revit, Plant 3D, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Pipe-FLO; travel may be required.

Qualifikationen

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
• BS in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Professional Engineering license is a plus.
• Ability to travel (approx. 10%) and climb ladders may be required.

Aufgaben

• Navigate piping codes and apply design concepts to projects.
• Perform piping systems concept development and calculations.
• Create P&IDs and flow diagrams; specify equipment and systems.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and clients; mentor junior staff.
