Job summary

WSP USA Inc is seeking a Lead Pipeline Engineer to work from one of several offices including Houston, TX. The role involves delivering comprehensive pipeline solutions across mining, oil & gas, and water sectors with global engineering teams.

The successful candidate will lead routing studies, FEED through decommissioning, and provide field coordination, client interfacing, and project leadership while ensuring safety through strong health and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• 7–10 years of pipeline design experience in consulting or operating companies.
• EIT required; Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
• Knowledge of 49 CFR Part 192/195, ASME B31.4/B31.8, AWWA M11.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform work in field and office; operate company vehicles.
• Design pipelines across lifecycle: planning, FEED, route selection, permitting, detailed design, procurement, construction, deactivation.
• Provide routing, stress analysis and mechanical design support for liquid, gas and slurry pipelines.
