Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. in the Nuclear Services Group is seeking a Pipe Stress Engineer to join our team in the United States.

You will prepare documentation of pipe stress analyses and support design for process and utility piping systems on nuclear projects, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure safety and compliance. The role requires 15+ years of piping experience, ASME III Class 1 fatigue design, and a Professional Engineer (PE) license.

Qualifications

15+ years of experience in mechanical piping design and pipe stress analysis.
Significant ASME Section III Class 1 Fatigue design experience.
Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
Experience with AutoPIPE, Caesar II or similar pipe stress software.
Ability to obtain unescorted access to a US Nuclear facility.

Responsibilities

Pipe Stress Analysis & Pipe Support Design: Prepare complete documentation of the pipe stress analysis and support design for process piping and utility piping systems in support of nuclear and non-nuclear projects by performing piping flexibility analysis (static and dynamic) for critical piping systems.
Engineering Documentation & Analysis: Prepare high quality engineering documents for commercial nuclear facilities in accordance with client, ENERCON, and regulatory requirements.
Regulatory Compliance & Technical Standards: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry codes, standards, safety culture, and design techniques suitable to the nuclear industry.
Quality Assurance & Peer Review: Provide peer and technical reviews of engineering designs and documentation; interface with cross-functional teams.
Leadership & Project Oversight: Provide leadership and mentoring to junior engineers and oversee project execution.
