Job summary

Hargrove Engineers + Constructors in Greenville, SC seeks a senior mechanical engineer to design complex systems and lead project tasks. You will perform stress analysis, piping design, material specs, and prepare drawings for procurement.

You will coordinate with other disciplines, review vendor drawings, support field startup, and mentor junior engineers. Minimum 6+ years industrial experience and a BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering; PE preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering required
• 6+ years of industrial mechanical experience
• PE registration preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform complete design of complex mechanical systems.
• Conduct stress analysis and piping calculations.
• Prepare detailed drawings and material take-offs for construction.
• Review vendor drawings and ensure alignment with design criteria.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure timely project delivery.
• Provide field support during startup and commissioning.
