Job summary

Hargrove is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead design tasks for small to large projects. You will perform calculations, develop layouts, and guide draftsmen to produce constructible drawings.

Strong collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams is required to ensure on-time, accurate deliverables. The role emphasizes piping systems knowledge, adherence to design standards, and the ability to provide field support and vendor drawing review.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university is required.
• Professional Engineering registration is highly preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant industrial mechanical engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete mechanical design tasks for projects, under supervision.
• Develop conceptual layouts, calculations, and material take-offs.
• Check vendor drawings and ensure conformance to specs and codes.
• Provide field data gathering and construction support as needed.
• Collaborate with designers and other disciplines to finalize drawings.
