Job summary

Hargrove in Greenville, SC, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer IV to deliver complex mechanical designs and analyses for industrial projects. You will perform stress analyses, create piping and construction specs, and produce detailed calculations and sketches for construction materials.

The role requires strong design practices, field support during startup, and the ability to lead a small team while coordinating with other disciplines to meet project scope, schedule, and budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university is required.
• Professional Engineering registration is highly preferred.
• 6+ years of relevant industrial experience in mechanical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete design of complex mechanical engineering assignments under general supervision.
• Conduct stress analysis, develop piping estimates and material procurement specifications.
• Produce detail design calculations and sketches for materials of construction.
• Assist field work and startup activities; provide construction support.
• Lead small teams to deliver on commitments and coordinate with other disciplines.
