Job summary

Quest Global Services-N.A., Inc. is seeking a Physical Design Lead Engineer to drive complex P&R flows from netlist to GDSII in Windsor, CT, with exposure to 3nm nodes. You will handle floorplanning, CTS, routing, Power/IR analysis, and timing closure while coordinating with dynamic multi-node teams.

The role requires a strong background in STA, LEC, PV, and clock tree synthesis, as well as travel to client sites across the United States. Telecommuting options within the U.S. are supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or related field with 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Place & Route design flow, logical synthesis, STA, DFT, and physical verification.
• Travel to client locations across the U.S. up to ~30%, telecommute options allowed.

Responsibilities

• Implement complex physical design from netlist to GDSII.
• Work on 3nm or below process nodes with floorplanning, CTS, and routing.
• Optimize timing with MCMM constraints and fix timing violations across blocks and top-level.
• Build ECO environments for place & route tools to meet timing and power targets.
• Perform PV checks (DRC/LVS/EC, Antenna, ERC) and ensure manufacturability.
