Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Employer Solutions is seeking a Phlebotomist III Site Lead in Oak Lawn, IL. The role involves drawing blood, managing patient interactions, and leading on-site staff across multiple sites, with a schedule from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM and rotational weekends.

Strong phlebotomy skills and customer service are essential. Responsibilities include specimen collection, data entry, billing, and biometrics verification, with opportunities for career advancement in a high-volume lab setting.

Qualifications

• Five years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Travel and flexible hours required to work multiple locations and required to cover at Patient Service Center/Mobile/Long-Term Care/In-Office Phlebotomy locations with minimal notice.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions according to established training.
• Research test/client information and confirm and verify all written and electronic orders.
• Complete data entry requirements including patient registration and test orders.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Data entry and processing of specimens including labeling and processing.
• Perform clerical duties such as data entry, inventory and answering phones.
